New in Norfolk

It has been ages since I have been on this blog but exciting times are ahead. Stagnation at work drove me to request a temporary detail assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. 

Though I still have not received my big ticket items from UHaul yet, Eric and I have begun to make the place feel more like our own home, not just an empty shell. We planted a little balcony garden: tomatoes, hot peppers, mint, rosemary, sage and two types of basil. Here goes our attempts of having a green thumb!

"Project Cornhole Complete!"

I've been working with my friend Rick to make a cornhole set for my friends Jenny and Keegan's wedding. With Rick's carpentry skill and my enthusiasm we built the boards. Now I am off to paint the bad boy purple and gold (UW in this bitch!).

Oh and I also made that shawl. Radical.

I have been really dropping the ball on updating the projects I have been working on. I made a really sweet shall for Jenny for her wedding. I loved it so much I am making one for myself.
